Lights through the keyhole
Close the door
Strange images where have I seen it before?
Strange frequencies these lights and tones
Chased through the fields
Left all alone
This is important
This means something
Alone
Changes everything
Where have they come from and
Where have they gone
These close encounters
From somewhere beyond
Some will leave and some will return
Signals crossed, patterns learned
Alone
This is important
This means something
Alone
Changes everything
Lost all contact- radio silence
Everything shuts down and goes quiet
This sounds crazy I know that it does
Burned by the light
With no clue what it was
No one believes me
Or no one cares
Encountered by something
No one knew was there
This is important
This means something
Alone
Changes everything

This might be their best album, and that's really saying something. The songs shift seamlessly from crushing to angelic, and there are enough other dynamics and subtleties at play to keep each song interesting. It's my favorite album of 2020, and I don't see that changing any time soon. steverie
Toronto band Respire deliver a post-hardcore tour de force on the largest scale possible, orchestrally rich and incessantly uncompromising. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 6, 2021

Can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but equally I can't say enough either. Mindforce are a talented bunch of guys, succeeding in paying homage to iconic acts of old, but injecting a modern, seething, and contemporary twist. Fratello might just be one of the best songs of the past ten years IMHO. Gave me chills from the first listen, and still does, even after the thousandth play. shedoverheels
